After eating, swimming, and calling in at Rach’s folks we got home pretty late, so no screwing or banging for me. So I applied a second coat of paint on the walls. I’m not really happy with the finish on the ceiling, but that can get re-done after I board the loft.

My PeeCee being rather thoroughly dead, I ran microsoft’s memory tester on it. It turned off the monitor and went all quiet, which I took to mean it’s broken.

Took the afternoon off work and made a new loft hatch hole:

The glue is drying. Next step is to put some screws in for strength and find a good sized piece of plywood to make a trapdoor with.
Then it’s time to clobber a hole in the ceiling!
