I was not reall bothered about my Birthday. When Rachael asked me what I wanted, I said “Something with my age written on it, cos I’m starting to lose track.”
Just now at lunch I remembered what birthdays were like when I was, e.g. 9 and I wanted a death star and a mousetrap game and a ZX Spectrum and a bigtrak and a kerplunk and a buckaroo and the lego car and and and …
So in the spirit of that, here’s my birthday list.
- Lego Mindstorms
- A Wii
- A Stirling Engine
- Any of the Beanworld books & comics
- Music by the Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra
- The Non-designer’s Design Book: Design and Typographic Principles for the Visual Novice by Robin Williams (or anything from my amazon wish list http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/registry/wishlist/QFW8MBTXUJXA)
- A Ferrari
- A House in the Bahamas
- A Topfield TF5800 in Aluminium finish (or a TF5810 if you can find one in aluminium)
- A SamsungDVD-V6700S or simila, region-free DVD/VHS player
I’ll understand if you don’t get me ALL the above.
