Oh dear, I’m at it again. Rather than testing software for Germans I have the urge to take photos of toy cars then project them onto the interior walls of my house and paint them in with emulsion.

I still haven’t quite come to terms with the fact that nobody wants to pay me money to do whatever the hell comes into my head from moment to moment.

This should be required reading for all citizens.

Good Citizen here’s a fear biscuit.

Also this.

Were they trying to ignite the fuel using only the power of a mobile phone? As in the forecourt “switch off all mobile phones” sign? That would be the icing on the cake. There is in fact no evidence that mobile phones ignite fuel, and rather more than no evidence that forecourt fireballs are caused by static electricity: in America where you can lock the pump nozzle to ‘open’ and go into your car to get your wallet.

So these “bombers” had no oxidising agent and no detonation mechanism. However the gases given off by a burning car are extremely poisonous. So should they be charged with “conspiracy to light a toxic bonfire” or similar? These bombs were only slightly more dangerous than me calling my friend on his mobile while he is filling a plastic petrol can on the station forecourt.
