Laid a couple more boards in place and cleared away the space where the remaining boards will go. found a bathroom cabinet in the loft, complete with electric toothbrush, and mirror with “St. Helens RUFC 1978″ written on it.

Come on you Saints! Hang on a minute…. r U f c? Rugby Union…isn’t that wot those snivelling softy southerners play. Nay lad you want to get rid of that mirror and replace it with one that says St. Helens RLFC 1978
After a little wiki-ing I get this, which doesn’t shed any light on things:
Liverpool St Helens Football Club are a rugby union team formed from the merger of Liverpool Football Club and St. Helens RUFC.
Football…rugby union…merger?!?!?!? Sounds like Aussie rules to me - kick, throw, punch the ball to the goal - actually do that to everything: balls, players, yourself.
