I used to be in a band. We were good. I don’t brag about it much but I’m not too shy when asked about it. When people ask “what sort of band” I usually say “song-y girly pop, like the beatles or something”.
Well, now I have the new fangled diddicle telly, and hence “e4 music” and “HITS”, I discovered something this lunchtime that can now shorten my answer.
We were McFly.
I’m not convinced that is a good thing.

Actually, that’s compeltely accurate. You _were_ McFly. Although I don’t think their bass player has accidentally spat any kind of sandwich filling into a major-but-shortlived celebrity’s girlfriend’s cleavage.
Spooky…
I was given a McFly CD for my birthday today. Actually, I’m rather enjoying it.
Now that you’ve come out in the open, I feel we need to know more, particularly about the sandwich/cleavage business.
Heheh. Actually we were a tad more British sounding than McFly. I’m sure I shall blog some more about those days and maybe find time to put some noises on teh intewerb.
Happy Birthday MMM!
Also, have you noticed that ‘diddicle’ looks just like ‘diddide’ in the font on your home page. I was wondering what a diddide telly was. Duh!
Argh. That’ll be shonky wordpress default stylesheets again, squashing fonts in ways they were never meant to be squashed.
I’ve had the same enlightenment - we were definitely McFly. Now you know why none of the local lads liked us!
